During the weekend of August 28-30, Faithful Reform in Health Care has urged communities of faith to raise their voices for health care reform by sponsoring Candlelight Vigils. This effort is planned to coincide with the last week of the Congressional recess, when members are in their home states and districts.
You are invited to join Second Presbyterian Church, 4501 Westminster Place, in a brief candlelight vigil on the front steps of the church on Saturday night. Let us light a candle of hope and give witness to the values we wish to see reflected in our communities.
